2023: Ex-minister, Ogah tasks NASS elect on effective representation

The immediate past Minister of State for Mines and Steel, Dr Uche Ogah, has charged the Rep-elect for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Amobi Ogah, to be a remarkable lawmaker whose presence at the Green Chamber will bring positive development to his constituents.

Ogah who was also a former Abia State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), gave the charge on Sunday when he received the Member-elect at his residence in Uturu.

Responding, Amobi Ogah thanked him for his brotherly support, and encouragement and for being a pillar of light in the family and the society at large.

He also appreciated the wife of the immediate past Minister for her encouragement, support and motherly role to the family.

Amobi assured Dr Uche Ogah that he will be a positive rallying point at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.

DAILY POST recalls that the House of Representatives flagbearer of the Labour Party for Isiuakwato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia State, Amobi Godwin Ogah, had defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress and Deputy Chief Whip of the lower chamber of the Nigerian national assembly, Nkeiruka Onyejiocha, at the keenly- contested election.
